Uncle Tom's Cabin- The inside look

I've finally finished Uncle Tom's Cabin! Not that the book didn't interest me, it did! But I was just too busy to devote body and soul to finishing it within a week....as is normally the case. **Grin**
My ending thoughts on this tear jerker of a book? Perfect...Thrilling...Very. Very. Stirring!

When you finish, you feel like the book has been completed...Unlike most books that leave you with a vague sense of partiality and something incomplete.
I absolutely l.o.v.e. the intenseness of this book! The heart wrenching truth and the moral intensity is amazing.

Harriet Beecher Stowe has something that other writers of her time failed to accomplish.....She has that knack for leading you into dozens of characters, dozens of places, and all at different times, without making you forget or mixup a single thing! Maybe I was just too interested, but I think that Uncle Tom's Cabin is such an awesome and inspiring book.

Ahhhhh, the bliss of finishing a good book......Even though it made me cry...well...almost

And that undefined feeling of sadness when you finish it...I wish books could last f.o.r.e.v.e.r....

Christ's Blessings,

Miss Lizzy
