Lights In The Dark

Many of us want to do something useful in our lifetime, we want to be someone, be prominent, and leave a legacy behind us. We must thoughtfully ponder the purpose of our plans, and make sure that our wants and desires do not overtake God's plan for our lives. We need to be "Lights In the Dark" for Christ. We need to be lit when God lights us, and only He can blow us out. We don't want distractions and evil to blow us out....do we? 

We must except God's plan for the purpose in our lives, even when we really want to go our own way, or do our own things. We must be quiet and still and let God lead us, so that we do not go astray. 

This is vital to a Christian, that we "listen" to God's counsel, instead of fending for ourselves.

I pray that God may bless me in this endeavor, and that "my plan" is God's.
