On a farm Summertime is the busiest of all the seasons... With summer comes everything but the kitchen sink! New baby chicks, Extra animal care, (especially with this heat) the Summer harvest, Canning and stocking the pantry for the winter, and the preparations for the Fall garden. To say the least we are trying to "put up" as much food as possible, and be as self-sufficient as we can be.
We've been harvesting lot's of Cayenne peppers from our garden this past week! We are drying them in our dehydrator, so we can make our own Cayenne powder!
