You know you live on a Tennessee farm when...........

All your neighbors don't hesitate to come and welcome you here.....without calling first......I LOVE it!

200 live ladybugs adorn every window inside the house... And it just happens that the school mascot is the ladybugs...Oh, and we are told that 200 ladybugs is nothing to what will come

Our 2 Great Pyrenees dogs stay up all night barking at coyotes

You learn to get really good at killing superflies....eww

You realize you need to get a cat who has it's taste buds set for mice

Your new friends are amazing and bring you essentials for farm life....and meals!

The Seller of your house is amazing and does everything from plowing your fields to picking up trash the dogs tore through.....

You realize your spoiled City dog might be suited for country life if......
1. He isn't fluffy and all white
2. He doesn't like to take off after every creature that crosses your path
3. He get's along great with 4 dogs the size of horses that could eat him in one mouthful
4. He doesn't try to rush out the back door at every opportunity
5. He isn't scared of every bitty thing
6. He actually sleeps in his own bed instead of yours....

You get a terrible cold that effects your whole body and everyone says you'll get them for the first year....."great"

Everyone has the neatest TN accent and you wonder if it would be a good idea to start talking like that.....

Your washing machine breaks and you have to hold the door closed every time you decide to do a load

You learn to accept huge spiders, and you don't scream like the earth is collapsing every time you see one

You have a huge barn that looks like it was built in the 1500's and it's falling apart as you speak

3 strange men come up to your house and ask if you are selling a truck.....a truck they drove all the way from Georgia to buy...and ask "do you actually get that mini van through that awesome creek?" Sorry, no, we have no truck for sale....and yes, our mini van "does" get through that awesome low water crossing......

You have a HUGE fireplace that radiates heat throughout the whole entire house....:-) Ahhhh

You have 3 gorgeous horses who discovered that they actually like carrots! Oh, and feed and hay

Your 2 Pyrenees dogs are named Shadrack and Mishak.....but poor abednego had to be gotten rid of....**grins**

It get's down to 17 degrees and you must force yourself to brave the cold to feed the hungry horses and dogs awaiting your attention

We have 0 water bill! And water that is clearer than glass

Well, that about wraps up our country life so far! It's fun and so exciting.......except for the fact that I feel awful....Achew!

God has definitely blessed us with this farm, and we can't wait to see what else He will do in our lives!

Love to all you Texas people back home, from your TN farm girl!
